Another record breaking month in the Ottawa Real Estate market with the highest number of properties sold in one month ever recorded!   2016 was a record breaking year for Ottawa real estate resales! 715 sales in December brought the total number of properties sold throughout the year through Board’s MLS® to 15,537, a 6% increase over 2015. While temperatures are dropping, the fall real estate market in Ottawa remains steady with another record breaking month!  Recently released statistics from the Ottawa Real Estate Board  below show that the condo sales soared in October, up 27.2% over last year!   While these statistics are useful in establishing market trends they should not be used as an indicator that specific properties have increased or decreased in value.
